Christmas Fun!

We had a busy last week full of Christmas fun! We watched a movie, sang carols, decorated reindeer cupcakes, danced to some crazy videos, played a game with a giant ball of tape and shared yummy treats. Thanks to everyone who brought treats for the class today.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you all have a safe and restful break. Get ready for LOTS of work in the new year!

BOOK RAFFLE!

Enter to win a fabulous book! Our class is having a book raffle. Tickets are 25 cents each or 5 for $1. The tickets will be on sale until Dec. 17th. The raffle will be held that day as well. All proceeds from the raffle will go to the Salvation Army toy drive.

Geometric Snowman Challenge

• Create a snowman on paper that uses as many polygons as possible. You can draw it or cut and paste the pieces together. Be creative! You many find different-sized circular objects at home to trace for the circles. You should create a base, mid-section and head for your snowman. Try to include polygons for the eyes, nose, mouth, hat and scarf.
